After a very successful first edition of the Community Leadership Academy (CLA), which graduated 22 students from Eagle and Gypsum, we are excited to bring it back this winter. Over 200 individuals in the Eagle Valley have graduated from the CLA over the past several years.

CLA offers Leadership Foundations for Local Business, Non-Profits and Government: a set of universal leadership principles and leading practices organized around character development, skillful actions and relationship building. A significant premise is that leadership engages us in other people’s lives, and before inserting ourselves, all of us should know how to lead our own lives first.

CLA is an experience for individuals looking to enhance their leadership capabilities and connect with other business owners and like-minded professionals in Eagle County.

“The Community Leadership Academy has created a platform for discovery and diverse exploration – for each of us as individuals and for our dynamic group as a whole. With different roles and responsibilities in our community, each of us see the world through our own colorful lens and offer differing viewpoints about what is important and the direction we need to take to create impact.” Anne-Marie Desmond, UB.U., graduate of our first academy.

Through the generosity and collaboration of the Vail Center, the Eagle Chamber is able once again to sponsor this 7-month program for our members, in Eagle, at a 50% discount.

Registration is now open for Eagle and Gypsum Chamber members; select ‘Eagle Chamber Session’ and enter scholarship code eagle50 to receive 50% off.

Starting November 14, 2018 and ending on May 8th, 2019, we will again meet monthly from 10am to 2pm in Eagle Town Hall, with lunch served.
