The Eagle Chamber of Commerce honored its members for their contribution to the community in 2015. Awards were presented to the Business of the Year, Member of the Year and Ambassador of the Year. The winners and finalists were:
Business of the Year, John, Charity and Christopher Batson, owners of Batsons Corner Store | Eagle Pharmacy, were honored for their contributions to the community and for ensuring that the town’s much-loved The Nearly Everything Store continues to be a town icon; finalist, Jill Smirl, The Life! Magazine, for strengthening the community of Eagle Ranch through her publication.
Member of the Year, PJ Berg, simpatiCOworking, for taking the chamber’s proposal to provide coworking space in Eagle and bringing it to fruition; finalist, Matthew Howell, Fas-Break Auto Glass, for his multi-year support of the chamber’s two annual golf outings as a sponsor and player and for consistent attendance at Chamber events.
Ambassador of the Year, Taun Sanders, Circle-A Auto Repair for bringing Wassailfest to the Christmas on Broadway festivities; finalist, Harry Taylor, Send Out Cards, for his leadership in organizing the Christmas on Broadway parade and volunteering at other Chamber events.
