Eagle Vision 20/20 is in its seventh year: a bi-annual event of the Town of Eagle and the Eagle Chamber of Commerce designed to keep the community informed on Eagle’s vision for the future.
A packed house learned from the town’s leadership about progress and achievements in 2017 and plans for 2018 and beyond.
Eagle Mayor Anne McKibbin introduced our new Town Manager Brandy Reitter, making her first appearance at Eagle Vision 20/20; together they presented the State of the Town.
A Business Owners’ Panel featured Amanda Jessen, Bonfire Brewing, Charlie Gundlach, Color Coffee Roasters, Corina Lindley, Endorphin Eagle Ranch, Jeff Kennedy, Moe’s Original Bar-B-Que and Yvonne Schwartz, Yoga Off Broadway. They shared their stories, how they started, and the challenges along the way.
The Eagle Chamber’s Annual Business Awards were presented. Congratulations to our award winners (see photo above):
- Ambassador of the Year: Patty Hood, Hood Insurance Agency; Finalist: Edith Taylor, Send-Out-Cards
- Member of the Year: Amanda & Andy Jessen, Bonfire Brewing; Finalist: the Batson Family, Batson’s Corner Store (who were unfortunately unable to attend)
- Business of the Year: Alpine Bank; Finalist: Color Coffee Roasters
We introduced a new award to recognize someone who has gone above and beyond in volunteering for the chamber: the Eagle Chamber of Commerce Service Award</i<. The first recipient of the award Levi Rozga, ANB Bank, has served as a Chamber Board Director for 5 years, has been Vice President, organized our enormously successful Screaming Eagle Golf Tournament and managed the Christmas on Broadway Bonfire (including cutting all the wood!) Thank you Levi!
We were honored to present a special, one-time award to Tom Boni, who recently retired as Interim Town Manager. Over his years of service to our town, Tom has consistently made a difference at town hall and in our community. Thank you Tom!
